Hospitality

This has been our ‘bread and butter’ since our inception. Our journey began at The Connaught Hotel in Mayfair and since then we have been the primary service and mechanical company for the Maybourne Hotel Group.

We have been around hotels for many years and there is not a lot that FMS Projects Ltd does not know about how hotels are put together.

Retail

As with the hospitality sector, all of the skills we posses within the business are utilised for our clients in the retail sector. We have for a number of years now supported high street chains up and down the country and know all of the challenges our clients face.

As H&S is so vitally important, when working within our retail stores, the visits are usually scheduled in for first thing in the morning so that we are out of the way for the doors open.

When a project is required within our stores the hours asked of our engineers are usually unsociable which is something we have now become accustomed to.

When FMS Projects Ltd is structuring to work with our high street chains, a benefit for our clients is that with volume comes a more cost effective solution enabling you to focus on the customer experience and the core values behind your company.

Construction

FMS Projects Ltd is familiar with the stresses and strains of construction and our experienced qualified engineering teams, and project managers know all about the tight timescales required to complete the job in hand to a high standard.

Projects to date have seen us organising crane lifts and road closures to installing all aspects of HVAC, commercial plumbing and electrical fit-outs in London and along the South Coast.

All of our major sites are run by a dedicated project manager, a working foreman with the SSSTS qualification, as well as our skilled engineers possessing IPAF and PASMA.

This has been our ‘bread and butter’ since our inception back in 2009. Our journey began at The Connaught Hotel in Mayfair and since then we have been the primary service and mechanical company for the Maybourne Hotel Group.

We have been around hotels for more than 10 years and there is not a lot that Facilities Management (Southern) Ltd does not know about how hotels are put together and how to then keep them running and maintained to the exceptionally high standards that our clients demand.

All aspects of our skills that we have learnt along the way are used on a daily basis to keep this 5 star luxury hotel chain running around the clock.

At Claridges, even the technical services staff are Facilities Management (Southern) Ltd employees, from the shift engineers to the chief of engineering. An idea we don’t think is repeated anywhere else in the country is one born from the requirement of trades people on site as part of the maintenance team to assist with the extensive work this hotel is undergoing to keep ‘down times’ to an absolute minimum.

This benefits our client in the form of a fixed contractual cost per annum and the reduction in recruitment fees.
